Very well appointed cottage with everything well thought through especially in relation to dogs and of course their owners

Just returned from a few days at this lovely cottage. It has everything you could possibly need and some! Very comfortable stay and very nice area with some great dog walks straight from the door. Andrew and Janet texted us the day after we arrived to check everything was ok which was a nice touch. Thanks again for a great stay - from Teddy the dog and his Mum and Dad.

Had a lovely stay at Yew Tree Cottage, gorgeous little cottage, very well equipped, comforting and welcoming. The owners had pretty much thought of everything to enhance the stay. The area was charming with a lovely walls by the river and the local pub just a 5 minute walk away, dog friendly and again very welcoming, also serving great food. Would definitely return to Yew Tree Cottage.

Lovely very well equipped cottage situated between Newcastle and Hexham. Lots of little extra touches and a wealth of maps and tourist information provided. Personally I would have preferred a dishwasher to be provided rather than a washing machine, as I wouldn't do clothes washing on holiday. Well situated for walks and tourist attractions and there is a pub nearby that is dog friendly and serves food. Would thoroughly recommend.
